Dimethyl carbonate is an organic compound, chemical formula is C3H6O3. Usage:
1.A new type of low-toxic solvent, can replace toluene, xylene, ethyl acetate, butyl acetate, acetone or butyl ketone in the paint and adhesive industry. It is an environmentally friendly eco-friendly chemical product.
2.Good methylating agent,carbonylationagent, hydroxymethylating agent and methoxylation agent, are widely used in food antioxidant, plant protection agent etc. fields. 
3.Ideal substitutes for highly toxic products like phosgene, dimethyl sulfate and methyl chloroformate. 
4.Can synthesize polycarbonate, diphenyl carbonate, isocyanate, etc.
5.In medicine, it is used for the synthesis of anti-infection drugs, antipyretic and analgesic drugs, vitamins and central nervous system drugs.
6.In pesticides, it is mainly used to produce methyl isocyanate, and then to produce certain carbamate drugs and insecticides (anisole).
7.Used as gasoline additives, lithium battery electrolyte, etc.
